To launch the Competitive Entrance Examination into M1 of the Regional Masters in Integrated
Coastal and Marine Environment Management of the Institute of Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences (jointly
carried by the University of Douala, the Omar Bongo University, the Masuku University of Science and
Technique and the University of Yaounde l) and setting the number of places offered for 2017/2018
academic year

THE MINISTRY OF HIGHER EDUCATION INFORMS:

Candidates who are holder of the following diploma/certificates;
— Bachelor of Engineering
7 Bachelor of Mathematics
— Bachelor of Environmental studies
7 Bachelor of Physics
7 Bachelor of Chemistry
— Bachelor of Geoscience
7 Bachelor of Biology
— Bachelor of Geography
— Bachelor of Oceanography
— Bachelor of Human and Social Sciences
7 Bachelor of Law
7 Bachelor of Biochemistry
7 Bachelor of Water Management

7 a degree in any academic discipline or an equivalent qualification recognized by the
Ministry of Higher Education,
that a competitive entrance examination by study of file (Convention between the four
universities) for the selection of 40 (forty) students into M1 of the Regional Masters in Integrated
Coastal and Marine environment Management of the Institute of Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences for
the 2017/2018 academic year is hereby launched only in Douala center.

The numbers of places are to be distributed as follows:

7 Coastal and Marine Landscapes Planning .................................... 10 places;
— Evaluation and Audit of Coastal and Marine Zones/Environments .................. 10 places;
7 Conservation of Coastal and Marine Ecosystems ............................ 10 places;

— Research and Development in Coastal and Marine Zones/Environments ................ 10 places.

Application files include the following documents:

-an application form to be collected at the ISH laisons office, situated at the former Dean office of the
Faculty of Industrial Engineering (Douala), at the student's affair office of the IUT (Douala) or to be
downloaded from the website www.ish.cm,
- a certified true copy of the candidate's birth certificate issued not older than 3 months,
- a certified Baccalaureat or GCE-AL ,
- a Certified transcripts of three or six (03 or 06) semesters of the bachelor’s degree courses as the case
may be,
-a medical certificate delivered by a medical doctor of state administration, testify that the candidate is
physically fit for university studies.
- a motivation letter,
- a letter of recommendation,
- a receipt of payment of the sum of 20,000 CFA (twenty thousand francs)/ 35(thirty-five) Euros for the
file examination, non-refundable and payable to the United Bank for Africa (UBA) Cameroon S.A.

Interested candidates should not be more than forty—five (45) years old on 15‘ January of the current year.
In addition to these documents, candidates holding foreign degrees shall attach a copy of the equivalent
degree, or an application file to that effect for a certificate comprising the following;
7 A stamped application addressed to the Minister of Higher Education specifying the candidate’s
personal address and phone number abroad,
7 A certified true copy of the candidate's birth certificate,
7 A certified true copy of the candidate's degree to be evaluated,
— A detailed and signed Curriculum Studiorum,
— A certificate of individuality in case the candidate’s documents carry different name orders (birth
certificate, degrees...),
— The exact and complete address of the institution issuing the certificate whose equivalent is
requested.
