Concerning the launch of a competitive entrance ination to the third year of the Faculty of Industrial Engineering (FGI) Initial formation 2 of th University of Douala, and to fix the number of places available for the academic year 2019/2020.

THE MINISTER OF STATE, MINISTER OF HIGHER EDUCATION:
Staff;
MINDFUL of decree N02015/398 of 15 September 2015 to appoint the Universities vice chancellor and Rectors;
MINDFUL of Order N0 19/00054/MINESUP/SG/DAUQ/SDEAC/SE of 27 February 2019 to organize the calendar of competitive entrance examinations into Faculties, Schools and institutions of Cameroon state Universities for 2019-2020 academic year.
ORDERS:
Article 1: The competitive entrance examination is going to take place only in the Douala University centre and concern holders of the following certificates:
a) Scientific degrees (Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry) and students on awaited result may apply;
b) Professionals bachelors degree
c) Diplomas of engineer of works ;
d) Degrees in technology;
e) All equivalence diplomas recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education.
The competitive entrance examination for admission of three hundred and sixty (360) students into the third year of the Faculty of Industrial Engineering of the University of Douala for the 2019/2020 academic year has been launched. Each department will be open to forty (40) students:
Technology of Industrial Design;
Hygiene-Security and Industrial Safety
Industrial Fishery/maritime Engineering;
Automobile Technology;
Telecommunication and Information Technology and Communication; Civil Engineering;
Industrial Robotics Engineering, Chemical Engineering,
Processing Engineering.
Article 2: The written examination consists of a main trade paper (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Technology).There will be no oral exams. Registration is done online at: www.fgi-UDo.cm
Article 3: The files of the candidates must contain the following documents:
1. An individual registration form to be completed online at www.fgi-UDo.cm. The completed form shall be printed accompanied by a 1 000 francs fiscal stamp and be signed by the candidate;
1. A certified true photocopy of birth certificate not older than three months;
3. A certified true photocopy of required certificate;
4 .A Certified true photocopies of level one, two and three transcripts;
5 A certified true photocopy of "probatoire" or GCE O/L and GCE A/L or "baccalauréat" certificate or slip as the case may be;
6A medical certificate not older than three (3) months issued by a state medical practitioner testifying that the candidate is fit for higher education;
7 .Four (4) recent passport size photographs of the candidate with names written behind;
3. An A4 format self-addressed envelope bearing a 400 francs CFA postal stamp with candidate's address on it.
Article 4: The registration fees for the entrance examination is Twenty Thousand (20 000) Francs CFA payable at the UBA bank Account no 0 100 500 000 287 of the University of Douala or through the services of Express Union to the same account in towns where UBA is not present; against a bank receipt which is obligatory included in candidates' file. The registration fee is not reimbursable. It is destined to cover charges generated as the result of the organisation of the entrance examination.
Article 5: All complete application files must be deposited at the admissions office of the Faculty of Industrial Engineering (FGI) or at the University of Douala no later than Wednesday 25th September 2019
Only candidates who deposit complete application files will be authorised to write, after a proof of a national identity card duely presented to the invigilator before entering the examination hall.
Article 6: The written examination will take place on Saturday 28th September 2019 in the unique centre indicated above at 8 am.
Article 7: The rector of university of Douala, director of the Department of university accreditations and Quality, and the Dean faculty of industrial engineering (FGI) of university of Douala are, each in his capacity, responsible for the implementation of this order which shall be registered and published in English and French wherever need be.
