Vu le Décret n°2018/191 du 04 janvier 2019 portant réaménagement du Gouvernement ;

Vu le Décret n°2020/274 du 11 Mai 2020 portant réorganisation de l’Ecole Nationale Supérieure Polytechnique de Maroua ;

Vu la décision n°18260039/MINESUP/SG/DAUQ/SDEAC/SE du 17 février 2026, fixant le calendrier des concours d’entrée dans les Etablissements des Universités d’Etat du Cameroun et Ecole sous tutelle académique du MINESUP, au titre de l’année académique 2026-2027 ;

Sur proposition du Recteur de l’Université de Maroua ;

DECIDE :

ARTICLE 1 :

Un concours sur épreuves est ouvert pour le recrutement de deux cent cinquante (250) élèves-ingénieurs en première année du cursus de formation d’Ingénieur et de quinze (15) élèves-architectes en première année du cursus de formation d’Architecte de l’École Nationale Supérieure Polytechnique de l’Université de Maroua, pour l’année académique 2026-2027.

Le tableau ci-dessous indique le type de diplôme d’entrée que le candidat doit avoir pour être autorisé à concourir :

(1) Les fonctionnaires ou les travailleurs ayant réussi au concours contribuent aux frais de formation dont le montant est fixé par un texte particulier.

(2) Les candidats de nationalité étrangère proposés à la formation par leur gouvernement sont admis dans les mêmes conditions académiques que ci-dessus en fonction du nombre de places disponibles.

ARTICLE 4 :

Les dossiers de candidature comprennent les pièces suivantes :

une fiche individuelle obtenue suite à votre inscription en ligne l’un des sites web :
www.minesup.gov.cm ou http://www.univ-maroua.cm ou http://www.enspm.univ-maroua.cm ou https://sekande.univ-maroua.cm ;
une photocopie certifiée conforme de la carte nationale d’identité ;
une photocopie certifiée conforme d’acte de naissance datant de moins de (03) trois mois ;
une photocopie certifiée conforme datant de moins de trois (03) mois des relevés de notes du Probatoire et du Baccalauréat ou du GCE/OL et du GCE/AL-selon le cas ;
une photocopie certifiée conforme datant de moins de trois (03) mois du Baccalauréat ou du GCE/AL dans les matières scientifiques ou du diplôme équivalent ou une attestation de réussite à l’un de ces diplômes le cas échéant ;
un certificat médical datant de moins de trois (03) mois dûment établi et délivré par un médecin de l’administration ;
une enveloppe format A4 timbrée à la poste au montant de 1500 FCFA à l’adresse du candidat ;
deux photos 4x4 portant les noms et prénoms au verso ;
les droits d’inscription au concours s’élèvent à vingt mille (20 000) CFA (frais de versement ou de transfert non compris) contre récépissé à joindre obligatoirement au dossier de candidature, soit à verser sur le compte de l’Ecole Nationale Supérieure Polytechnique de Maroua, compte N° 37160230501-69 domicilié à la COMMERCIAL BANK-CAMEROUN. Ces droits, non remboursables, sont destinés à couvrir les charges générées par l’organisation du concours ;
les candidats travailleurs doivent justifier leurs expériences professionnelles ;
le dossier complet doit être scanné et enrôlé sur la plateforme dédiée au concours.

ARTICLE 5 :

Les candidats titulaires de diplômes étrangers doivent présenter, soit arrêté d’équivalence, soit le récépissé du dépôt de la demande d’équivalence délivrés par le Ministère de l’Enseignement Supérieur. Toutefois, leur admission définitive et la délivrance du diplôme ou de l’attestation de réussite à la fin de leur formation ne peut être acquise que sur présentation dans les délais fixés par l’autorité compétente, du document accordant l’équivalence à leur diplôme, et obtenu au Ministère de l’Enseignement Supérieur par les soins du candidat.

ARTICLE 6 :

Les dossiers complets doivent être déposés le 01 octobre 2026 au plus tard à 15h30. Seuls les candidats présentant un dossier complet seront autorisés à composer. Ils devront alors se munir de leur carte nationale d’identité et du récépissé de dépôt du dossier, qui leur seront exigés.

ARTICLE 7 :

Le concours comporte :

Deux épreuves écrites comptant pour 70% ;
Une note de scolarité comptant pour 30%.

ARTICLE 8 :

Les épreuves écrites auront lieu le 04 octobre 2026 dans les centres suivants : Douala, Dschang, Garoua, Kousseri, Maroua, Ngaoundéré et Yaoundé.

(2) Les programmes du concours sont ceux du Baccalauréat ou du GCE/AL de chaque spécialité.

(3) A l’issue des épreuves écrites et après enregistrement des notes de scolarité, le jury dresse et publie par série la liste des candidats admis. Il n’est pas prévu d’examen oral. En aucun cas, il ne peut y avoir report d’admission d’une année académique à l’autre.

(4) Les candidats inscrits au concours avec un dossier complet et ayant au moins une mention « Très bien » aux Baccalauréats C et F de la session 2026, ou une mention « Excellent » aux Baccalauréats D, TI et F de la session 2025, peuvent bénéficier d’une admission directe sur titre.

ARTICLE 10 :

La note de scolarité est déterminée en fonction de l’âge du candidat et de ses performances académiques antérieures.

Mindful of decree N°2005/342 of 10 September 2005 to modify and to complete certain dispositions of Decree N°93/027 of 19th January 1993 to set up general regulations governing Universities;

Mindful of decree N°2008/280 of 09 August 2008 to create the University of Maroua;

Mindful of decree N°2008/281 of 09 August 2008 on the administrative and academic organization of the University of Maroua;

Mindful of decree N°2025/395 of 11 August 2025 to appoint officials in State Universities;

Mindful of order N°18/00022/MINESUP of 19 January 2018 to create Departments in the Faculty of Mines and Petroleum Industries of the University of Maroua;

Mindful of decision N°18260039/MINESUP/SG/DAUQ/SDEAC of 17th February 2026, to organize the calendar of competitive entrance examinations into Faculties, Schools and Institutes of Cameroon State Universities for 2026-2027 academic year;

On the proposal of the Rector of the University of Maroua:

DECIDES AS FOLLOWS:

ARTICLE 1:

A competitive entrance examination for the admission of two hundred and fifty (250) engineers students into the first year of the Engineer training course and of fifteen (15) architect-students into the first year of the Architect training course of the National Advanced School of Engineering of Maroua of the University of Maroua for the 2026-2027 academic year.

ARTICLE 2:

The table below shows the required diplomas or certificates and the main subject that a candidate must have in order to be qualified to register for the competitive entrance examination for a given speciality;

ARTICLE 3:

(1) Professionals or workers who are successful in the competitive examination must pay a fee which amount is indicated by a particular order.

(2) Foreign candidates proposed for the training by their government are admitted under the same academic conditions as above depending on the number of places available.

ARTICLE 4:

The application files shall comprise the following documents:

A printed application form duly filled in by the candidate on the websites:
www.minesup.gov.cm or http://www.univ-maroua.cm or http://www.enspm.univ-maroua.cm or https://sekande.univ-maroua.cm ;
A certified photocopy of the national identity card;
A certified photocopy of the birth certificate dated not more than three (03) months;
Transcripts of the Probatoire or GCE/OL, the Baccalaureate or the GCE/AL signed or certified by the competent services;
A certified photocopy of the baccalaureate or GCE/AL, or any other diploma recognized equivalent by the Minister of Higher Education, dated not more than three (03) months;
A medical certificate issued by a medical officer from the Administration testifying that the candidate is physically and medically fit for teaching;
An A4 envelope postal stamped at 1500 FCFA and addressed to the candidate;
Two (02) passport-size photographs (4x4);
A receipt of twenty thousand (20,000) CFA as registration fee representing the expenses of exam (payment or transfer fee not included) to be paid into the account of the National Advanced School of Engineering of the University of Maroua, Account Number 37160230301-69 issued by COMMERCIAL BANK-CAMEROUN. Competition fees are not refundable;
Working Candidates should attest their experiences in the field;

ARTICLE 5:

Holders of foreign diplomas shall submit either the equivalence or the receipt showing that they have applied for the equivalence of their diplomas or certificates issued by the Minister of Higher Education. However, their final admission and the award of a diploma or attestation of completion at the end of their training may be acquired only upon presentation within the time limits set by the competent authority, of the text granting equivalence to their diploma, and obtained from the Minister of Higher Education by the candidate.

ARTICLE 6:

The completed application file should be submitted either to the Regional Delegations of Secondary Education, or to National Advanced School of Engineering of the University of Maroua, or to the Department of Meteorology and Climatology of the Advanced School of Engineering in Kousseri, or to the Yaoundé-Antenna of the University of Maroua, on or before the 01 October 2026 at 3:30 p.m. precisely.

ARTICLE 7:

The competition shall comprise:

Three written tests accounting for 70%;
A scholar appreciation accounting for 30%.

ARTICLE 8:

The written papers will take place on 05 October 2026, in the following examination centers:

Douala, Dschang, Garoua, Kousseri, Maroua, Ngaoundéré and Yaoundé.

(3) At the end of the written tests and after the registration in the school records, the jury shall publish the list of successful candidates. There is no oral examination. Admission cannot be deferred for the next or any other academic year.

(4) Candidates registered for the competition with a complete file and having at least a "Very good" mention for Baccalaureates C and F of the 2026 session, or an "Excellent" mention for Baccalaureates D, TI, and F of the 2026 session, can benefit from direct admission on title.

The scholar appreciation is determined according to the age of the candidate and his previous academic performance.

(1) Le concours est ouvert en une seule session aux Camerounais des deux sexes, titulaires du

ou du GCE—AL obtenu au moins en deux (2) matières
scientifiques dont l’une des matières principales exigées pour chaque filière sollicitée, et du GCE—OL obtenu en
une seule session avec au moins deux (2) matières scientifiques dont l'une des matières principales exigées pour
chaque filière sollicitée.

(2) Le tableau ci—dessous indique le type de Baccalauréat et les matières principales dont l’une
au moins doit être validée selon la filière sollicitée parle candidat au GCE-AL pour être autorisé à compétir :

Article 3 : Les candidats remplissant les mêmes conditions académiques et qui le souhaitent, peuvent être admis
sur étude de dossiers, à titre exceptionnel, dans la limite des places disponibles et en qualité d‘auditeurs libres.
Les intéressés contribuent aux frais de formation dont le montant est fixé par un texte particulier.

Articie4: (1) Les candidats étrangers de la zone CEMAC ayant ratifié les textes relatifs au traitement
national des étudiants et remplissant les mêmes conditions académiques peuvent être admis sur étude de

dossiers, dans la limite des places disponibles.
(2) Les candidats étrangers hors CEMAC sont régis par l‘article 3.

Article 5 : (1) Les candidats concernés par les articles 2 et article 4 alinéa 1 doivent être âgés de 30 ans au
plus au 1er janvier 2017.

(2) Les candidats concernés par les articles 3 et article 4 alinéa 2 doivent être âgés de 40 ans au
plus au 1°janvier 2017.

Article 6 : Les dossiers de candidature devront comporter toutes les pièces suivantes :

. une demande d’inscription disponible a l’IMIP, dans les centres d‘examen, dans les délégations régionales
des enseignements secondaires et sur les sites internet du MINESUP; , __ de
l’Université de Maroua et de l’institut des Mines et des Industries Pétrolières.

- une photocopie certifiée conforme de l’acte de naissance, datant de moins de trois (03) mois ;

. les relevés de notes du Probatoire ou du GCE/OL et du Baccalauréat ou du GCE/AL signés ou certifiés par
les autorités compétentes ;

- une photocopie certifiée conforme du Baccalauréat ou du GCE/AL, ou du diplôme reconnu équivalent par le
Ministre de l’Enseignement Supérieur, datant de moins de trois (03) mois, ou une Attestation de Réussite
signée ou certifiée par les autorités compétentes. Seuls les candidats présentant le Baccalauréat ou le
GCE/AL au titre de l’année 2017 sont autorisés à composer sous réserve des diplômes requis ; toutefois, leur
admission définitive, le cas échéant, ne peut être acquise que sur présentation de la preuve de l'obtention du
diplôme requis dans les délais fixés par l'autorité compétente ;

- un certificat médical délivré par un médecin de l’Administration Publique, attestant que le candidat est
physiquement et médicalement apte à suivre des études supérieures ;

- un extrait de casier judiciaire (bulletin n°3) datant de moins de trois (03) mois;

- un reçu de paiement de vingt mille francs (20 000) FCFA de frais de concours, délivré par la banque:
SCB Cameroun, code banque: 10002, code guichet: 00033, compte N° 90000257957, CLE RIB 11
Aucun autre mode de paiement ne sera accepté ;

- une enveloppe grand format timbrée au tarif en vigueur et portant l‘adresse exacte du candidat;

- quatre (04) photos d’identité (4x4).

Article 7 : Les candidats titulaires de diplômes étrangers doivent présenter l‘arrêté ou le récépissé de demande
d’équivalence délivré par le Ministre de l’Enseignement Supérieur.

Article 8: Tous les dossiers complets doivent être déposés, soit dans la délégation départementale des
enseignements secondaires du Mfoundi pour la Région du Centre, soit dans les délégations régionales des
enseignements secondaires des autres Régions, soit a la scolarité de la Faculté des Sciences a Dschang, soit a
la scolarité de la Faculté des Sciences à Bambiii, soit à l’antenne de l‘Université de Maroua à Yaoundé, soit au
Service de la Scolarité de l‘institut des Mines et des industries Pétrolières de l’Université de Maroua a Kaéié, au
plus tard le jeudi 10 Août 2017.

Article 9 : Le concours sur épreuves comporte :
a) une épreuve écrite comptant pour 70% dans l’évaluation totale ;
b) une note de scolarité comptant pour 30% dans l’évaluation totale ;

Articie 10: (1) Les épreuves écrites auront lieu le dimanche 10 Septembre 2017 dans les centres suivants:
Bambiii, Buea, Douala, Dschang, Kaéié, Maroua, N'Gaoundéré et Yaoundé 1.

(2) Les candidats sont invités à se présenter devant les salles d‘examen 1 heure avant le début
dela première épreuve munis de leur récépissé de dépôt et d’une pièce d’identité.

(2) Les programmes du concours sont ceux du Baccalauréat ou du GCE/AL exigés pour la filière sollicitée.
(3) L’épreuve de l‘examen écrit donc la durée est de 5 heures est notée sur soixante—dix (70) points.

Article 12 : La note de la scolarité est établie en fonction :
- de l’âge du candidat;
— du nombre d’années passées dans le secondaire ;
- des notes obtenues au Baccalauréat ou au GCE/AL et au Probatoire ou au GCE/OL.

Article 13 : (1) A l’issue des épreuves écrites et après enregistrement des notes de la scolarité, le jury dresse par
filière et par ordre de mérite la liste des candidats proposés à l‘admission.
(2) En aucun cas il ne peut y avoir de report d’admission d’une année académique à l’autre.
(3) Les résultats sont publiés par le Ministre de l’Enseignement Supérieur.

Articie 14: La composition du jury visé à l’article 13 ci-dessus fait l’objet d'un texte particulier du Ministre de
l’Enseignement Supérieur.
Article 15 : Les frais de concours visés à l‘article 6 ci-dessus ne sont pas remboursables.

Article 16 : Le Recteur de l'Université de Maroua, le Directeur des Accréditations Universitaires et de la Qualité,
et le Directeur de l'institut des Mines et des industries Pétrolières de l’Université de Maroua sont chargés, chacun
en ce qui le concerne, de l'application du présent arrêté qui sera enregistré puis publié en français et en anglais
partout où besoin sera.

Article 2 : (1) The competitive entrance examination is organized in a single session for Cameroonians of both
sexes and who are holders of the following certificates: the GCE Advanced Level in at least two (2) science
subjects including one of the main subjects required for the series solicited, and the GCE Ordinary Level obtained
in one session with at least two (2) science subjects including one of the main subjects (major) required for the
series solicited ; the Baccalauréat Certificate required for each series solicited.

(2) The table below indicates the type of Baccalauréat and the main subject which the candidate,
following the series solicited, must have passed at the GCE ’A1 Level to be able to sit in for the examination:

Article 3: (1) Candidates fulfilling the same academic conditions may exceptionally apply for admission as private
students following a study of their files and based on the number of places available. Such candidates shall be
liable to contribute to the cost of their training by paying tuition which amount shall be established by a special

text.

Article 4: (1) Foreign candidates from the CEMAC Zone who qualify to be treated as nationals and who
also have similar academic qualifications as nationals can be admitted through the study of their documents
depending on the number of places available.

(2) Foreign candidates who are not from the CEMAC Zone shall follow the same condition as
stipulated in article 3.

Article 5: (1) Candidates concerned with articles 2 and 4 .1. must not be more than 30 years old as from
1st January 2017.

(2) Candidates concerned with articles 3 and 4. 2. must not be more than 40 years old as from 15‘
January 2017.

Article 6: Candidates’ files shall comprise the following documents:
. an application form to sit for the examination, obtained from either the Institute of Mines and Petroleum
Industries (IMIP), the examination centres or the regional delegations for Secondary Education. It can be also
downloaded from the following MINESUP Internet website: http://www.minesup.gov.cm, the website of the
University of Maroua, and the website of the Institute of Mines and Petroleum Industries.
0 a certified photocopy of birth certificate, dated not more than three (03) months ago ;
. results transcripts of the GCE/0L or the Probatoire and the GCE/AL or the Baccalauréat signed or certified by
the competent authorities ;
o a certified photocopy of the GCE/AL or the Baccalauréat , or an equivalent diploma/certificate recognized by
the Minister of Higher Education, dated not more than three (03) months ago, or a Success Testimonial
signed or certified by the competent authorities. Only candidates sitting for the 2017 GCE/AL or the
Baccalaureat are authorized to write the examination awaiting the required diplomas/certificates ; however,
where the case arises, their final admission shall be possible only on the presentation of proof of having
obtained the required diploma/certificate within the date limits specified by the competent authority ;
. a medical certificate issued by a medical doctor working with the Public Administration, testifying that the
candidate is physically and medically apt to pursue higher education studies.

. a certificate of non-conviction (bulletin n°3) dated not more than three (03) months ago ;
. a receipt showing payment of the sum of twenty thousand francs (20 000) CFA F as examination fees,
issued by the Bank- SGB Cameroon, Bank code: 10002, Cashier Code: 00033, Bank Account N°
90000257957, CLE RIB 11. No other mode of payment shall be accepted ;
. a large envelop bearing postal stamps respecting current rates and carrying the exact address of the
candidate;
0 four (04) passport size (4x4) photographs ;
Article 7: Candidates who are holders of foreign diplomas/certificates have to present the decision of equivalence
issued by the Minister of Higher Education.
Article 8 : Complete files shall be deposited either at the Division delegation of Mfoundi for Secondary Education
for centre region; or regional delegation for Secondary Education for other region or at the Secretariat of the Dean
of the Faculty of Science in Dschang, or at the Secretariat of the Dean of the Faculty of Science in Bambili, or at
the Institute of Mines and Petroleum Industries (Admissions Service) latest Thursday 10st August 2017.
Article 9: The examination papers will comprise the following:
a) three written papers which will account for 70% of the overall assessment ;
b) a mark for school attendance which will account for 30% of the overall assessment ;

Article 10: The written examination session shall be conducted on Sunday 10th September 2017 in the following
centres: Bambili, Buea, Douala, Dschang, Kaele, Maroua, Ngaoundere and Yaounde 1.

(2) The examination programmes are those of the GCE/AL or the Baccalauréat required for the series
solicited.
(3) The examination paper written long 5 hours and is marked on seventy (70) marks.
Article 12: The mark for school attendance shall be allocated based on the following criteria:
- the candidate’s age ;

- the number of years spent in secondary education ;
- marks obtained at the GCE/0L or the Probatoire and the GCE/AL or the Baccalaureat.

Article 13: (1) At the end of the written examination and after recording the mark for school attendance, the jury
shall establish, according to series and in order of merit, the tentative list of candidates for admission.
(2) The candidate‘s admission cannot be carried fonIi/ard from one academic year to another.
(3) The final results will be published by the Minister of Higher Education.

Article 14: The composition of the jury cited in article 11 above shall be established in a special text by the

Minister of Higher Education,

Article 15: The examination fees mentioned in article 6 above are non-refundable.
Article 16 : The Rector of the University of Maroua, the Director for University Accreditations and Quality and the
Director of the Institute of Mines and Petroleu Wiggiiefiof.the University of Maroua are, each in his sphere,
charged with the implementation of this ord%§9§baﬂise recbrded and published in English and in French
